Some might say these mammals might be classified as birds, but that is NOT true. Bats are superior to birds and are not the same because they they possess hair/fur, give birth to live young rather than laying eggs, and nourish their young with milk produced by mammary glands. Unlike birds, which have feathers and beaks, bats have skin-membrane wings with bony fingers, teeth, and, most importantly, hair. Bats are also nocturnal, meaning they come out at night also meaning that they leave us humans alone unlike birds. These mammals look cooler than any bird could look, especially when the bats hang upside down while being completely relaxed, and saving their energy.
