Bald Eagles don't do their own fishing. They often harass osprey mid-fishing to steal their catch mid-dive. They can be found chasing other birds for their prey. Sometimes they even steal fish directly out of their talons. Occasionally, other bald eagles are known to hunt together to steal fish from their competition. Bald eagles even go so far as to steal fish from people. They have been stealing since adolescence, flying hundreds of miles per day, stealing food from other large birds. The national bird loves to cut loose. Bald Eagles have been known to take plastic bottles and other objects as toys, even pass sticks to other eagles midair.
